The Boomers Businessmen’s Club was first born in 1980, and was formed to help raise the profile of the Kangas FC, to raise money for the club, and most importantly – to have a great time. Our efforts will be aimed at success for our club and “good times for us”.
We will support the Kalgoorlie City Football Club in its endeavours to become successful both on and off the field.
Boomers benefits include:
- Participation in “Boomers’ AFL Player Draw”.
- End of Season Dinner with a special guest.
- Special viewing area for all home games.
- Invitations to all of Kalgoorlie City Football Club’s functions.
The total cost of becoming a Boomer is $300. If your wife or partner would like to also join, it will cost her $150. All money raised is spent on the Kalgoorlie City Football Club.
How the “Boomers’ AFL Player Draw” works:
- A draw will be conducted for the top 50 AFL players in the “Toyota AFL Dream Team Competition”
- Each Boomer will be allocated a player from this draw. (There will be players in reserve in case of injury)
- The points scored by your player will be tallied and a weekly ladder will appear in the clubrooms.
- There will be 2 rounds of 7 games, and 1 round of 6 games.
- The top points scored at the end of each round will receive $200. The runner up will receive $100.
- The final winner will receive $200. Final runner up will receive $100. Third & fourth will receive $50 each.
