50 Games for Farac

We also has another milestone man this weekend in live wire utility Matty Farac. Matty saw the light and crossed to the Roos from the Tigers very early in juniors, a successful move as he joined his partner in crime Chaddy Mac in running riot through his  juniors career, which culminated in a flag and a fairest and best in 2007 while playing under 16’s.

A runner up fairest and best in 2008 he was fast becoming noticed for his silky skills and brilliant reading of the play. He played his first game of league football in 2009, however after 12 games and the a grade being bundled out of the finals early, Matty finished the year on a high with a flag in the colts.

In 2010 Perth beckoned for a stint with Trinity Aquinas, luckily Matty returned the next year playing all games in 2011 and acquitting himself brilliantly. A solid year in 2012 saw one of the more memorable games in recent history with Matty kicking a goal from deep in Kangas pocket after the final siren to seal a 5 point win against the Tiges. After playing out the year, Mat played in the reserves Grand Final in which he was one of the most influential players on the ground to steal a victory from the old foe railways.

2013 has seen him playing all over the ground and contributing to the team immensely with his prolific goal kicking ability and sublime skills.

Congrats on your 50 games Matty!!
